The Brief: To provide camera and lighting department kit rental and Gaffer/lighting direction creative.

Location: Cheshire, UK.

This was a really interesting project to work. The director and DoP, Josh Jones, asked us to both creatively consult and to provide an equipment rental service.

We worked on a series of creative references and recced the locations, then drew up lighting diagrams to provide the look we wanted to achieve. We heavily utilised the Lightbridge CRLS mirror system to recreate organic and natural lighting. The project was to be broadcast in a nationwide TV campaign so we needed the image quality and look to be perfect.

The actual shoot was a three-day schedule with an additional build day for kit prep. We were filming in mid-winter which meant the daylight hours were shorter than ideal. So some scenes we did as day for night. This is particularly tricky in large warehouse spaces with lots of large natural window spaces.
