Rise Festival 2023
Brief:
Rise 2023 was DGTL’s 9th year working with the festival. Our team has grown over the years from a 2 person crew up to now a team of 14 core filmmakers, photographers and editors, sitting alongside another 10 content and social team members from Chuffed Digital. We were tasked with making hundreds of onsite rapid turnaround content pieces, daily photo drops from artists, events, and slope activities, as well as making pieces for paid ads, an after-movie and filming interviews and B roll for a 10 years of Rise documentary.
Operations:
We set the team up with a breadth of experience across event, music and snowsports skills. We had a dedicated FPV/Drone pilot, a dedicated photo and video editor, three filmmakers shooting vertically exclusively for social media content and three filmmakers shooting horizontally for after-movie and documentary. Alongside the video team, we had four photographers each with unique specialties and experience.
With Rise Festival growing in size and production year on year, our job becomes more involved and complex. We not only capture the content but also advise on production visuals and customer experience. Our partnership with Rise goes way beyond a traditional client-partner relationship and we put our all into each year to make it stand out.
Over the two weeks we spent on site we delivered the following:
128 live clips of artists for collaboration posts and stories
3 mid week highlight edits
51 short edits and one shot videos
5 adverts for paid social
1 aftermovie
In the coming months, we will deliver roughly double the above to continue the marketing content stream throughout 2024.
